Valentine's Day is a day away! Do you have your cards, your flowers, your glittering plans all sorted? Or are you holding back, worried your epic crush will break your heart? If you followed our #SensibleYA hashtag on twitter yesterday, you'll know that taking risks makes for the best story. So go on, be brave, be bold! Tell your loved ones how you feel. Even if...you know, it's just your cat or your mom (definitely tell mom you love her, if you can).

Here's a roundup of book lover worthy V-Day ideas:

HarperCollins put together a pinboard of punny Valentines to print and share with those you want to be more than Franz with. Here are some more, from the delightfully quirky Quirk Books. We choo-choose you, YA readers! <3

Feeling crafty? Whip up these cute bookmark Valentines cards, courtesy of Thirty Handmade Days or these sweet Recycled Book Valentines from Recycled Lovelies.

Can't think of what to write on your card? ReadBreatheRelax compiled a handful of love quotes from YA books (and you can be a pal and add some of your favorites in the comments below, too!).

The crafting world in pretty into the whole decorate your mug with Sharpies thing, so why not surprise your loved one with one of those YA love quotes written on a tea or coffee mug. Be sure to let her or him know you'd like to curl up beside them with a book. Here's a tutorial for the mugs.

Maybe something to keep in mind for next year (or for a romantic non-V-day creation of your own), BookRiot put together a list of gift ideas from Etsy. Mmmmm chocolate.

Got he subtle route and get your Valentine a romantic YA book (see above re: the curling up together

Dark Kiss and Wicket Kiss by Michelle Rowan
Shadow Kiss, Vampire Academy #3 by Richelle Mead
Put together a Valentine IOU and preorder these ones:
The Kiss of Deception by Mary Pearson

Yeah, we know Valentine's Day is a crass commercialization of emotion, designed to make couples feel smug and single people feel bad. Or something. But when there's a whole world of bookish romance out there to discover, make it YOUR day. Send a little love around, read All the Romances, treat yourself and others. Whatever you do this Valentine's Day, have fun with it!

We love you. :)
