Road Trip Wednesday #188: Quarterly Check-In!

Welcome to our 188th Road Trip Wednesday!

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic. We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.

This Week's Topic: Quarterly Check-In: We did one back in March, so now that we're just past the halfway point of the year, how are you doing on your goals?

Road Trip Song of the Week: "Takin' Care of Business" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive

Next week’s topic: What song would you love to see a book based on?

  1. It's hitting me that I gave myself a ridiculous reading goal - 250 books - and that in the future, I should actually strive to read less, think more, and write more about what I'm reading.

  2. Here's mine. I'm the opposite of Rachael- lots of reading, not as much writing:

  3. I'm doing pretty great, considering that I have a full-time job and 2 small kids! I've gotten my query into awesome shape and have received important feedback on my YA novel from editors, agents, and friends. I have one full and one partial ms. out with agents already but won't send to any more until these revisions are done. Goal for this quarter is to get those changes done and start sending out my query in earnest!

  4. Here's mine. I'm kind of in the middle on my goals: not great, but not too terrible.
