FATES Cover Reveal!

Hi, YA Highway fans, Lee Bross here! I know it's Wednesday, but I am TOO excited to finally be able to share the cover to my debut novel, FATES. I wrote FATES under my penname, Lanie Bross, and it comes out February 11, 2014 from Delacorte. I cannot wait!

What if your destiny was to kill the one you love?

One moment. One foolish desire. One mistake. And Corinthe lost everything.

She fell from her tranquil life in Pyralis Terra and found herself exiled to the human world. Her punishment? To make sure people's fates unfold according to plan. Now, years later, Corinthe has one last assignment: kill Lucas Kaller. His death will be her ticket home.

But for the first time, Corinthe feels a tingle of doubt. It begins as a lump in her throat, then grows toward her heart, and suddenly she feels like she's falling all over again--this time for a boy she knows she can never have. Because it is written: one of them must live, and one of them must die.

In a universe where every moment, every second, every fate has already been decided, where does love fit in?

And without further ado....TADA!

I absolutely LOVE it. This gorgeous waterfall is exactly what I pictured for Pyralis Terra, and the girl, she *is* Corinthe! I also love the subtle lights in the water—I don’t want to give too much away, but these tiny lights play a big role in the novel!  I’d love to hear what you all think, too!

The fabulous blurb on the front is from one of my favorite writers, Carrie Jones, and I could not be more honored that she read my book! *insert fan girl squee here*

If you like the sound of FATES, why not add it to your Goodreads list?

Okay, on to the good stuff. To celebrate my cover release, I’m giving away an ARC of FATES to one fateful  winner! Maybe it will be your fate to win it! (Okay, I will stop with the fate jokes now!).  Enter at the link below and one of you lucky readers might have Fate on your side! Good luck!

  1. OMG! That is such a gorgeous cover! I love the green and blue and cerulean tones on it. And she's holding a lantern - I'm a huge fan of lanterns (as opposed to flashlights, or something). I'm confident that I will enjoy this book! The synopsis is terrific :)

    Thank you! <3

  4. Sounds totally great and I love the Cover. Enough reason for me to add it to my goodreads list and take part in this giveaway.
    ;)

One Question: Is it international because I am not a US-resident and couldn't find a hint of it. Maybe I missed that part.
