Road Trip Wednesday #182: What Book Has Swept You Off Your Feet?

Welcome to our 182nd Road Trip Wednesday!

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.

This Week's Topic: What's been your most surprising read of the year so far---the book you weren't sure about going in that really swept you off your feet?

Road Trip Song of the Week: "Swept Away" by the xx

Next Week: What's the best book you read in May?

    1. Oh, I read Tara French's THE LIKENESS a while back, and enjoyed it. It's a terrific book, and would recommend it to readers who like soft, easy-to-read thrillers without all the technical jargon. I actually have her latest book on my list of books to read. :)

  6. My post can be found here on Leysaulnier.com! I couldn't pick just one for this RTW, so there's three. Sort of.

On an unrelated note, I can't get my OpenID to not display me as anonymous on this website and I've been trying for forty-five minutes. :(

On the fun side - A Hero's Guide to Saving the Kingdom. I adore the slightly snarky narrative voice.

  9. "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." Not YA, but a great read.

Unfortunately, I can't fix the font on my blog post... Still getting used to Wordpress :) And I'm also trying to figure out why I'm listed as anonymous when I'm signing on from Wordpress.
