Welcome to our 134th Road Trip Wednesday!
Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.
In preparation for our Bookmobile discussion of Kody Keplinger's A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHTMARE, This Week's Topic Is:
How did you spend/how will you spend the summer after graduation?
Road Trip Song of the Week: "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley
Next week’s topic: It's already time for the Best Book of June!
Fun, fun, fun…I graduated quite a few times (my parents started wondering when I would actually STOP studying lol)…Today, I’ll tell you a bit more about the summer after my High School graduation: Summer after graduation…
ReplyDeleteOh, YAHighway...I don't know if you're ready for this, but here is how I spent my summer after high school. Or at least a teaser of it.
ReplyDeleteI give you...The New Hampshire Chronicles
Oh, awesome question. Here's my answer. I've graduated three times so it's kinda long: Summer Holiday
ReplyDeleteI assumed "graduation" referred to High School graduation (being YA Highway)... so here's my response.
ReplyDeleteI am currently in University, so here's what I did/will do!

How I spent my summer vacation.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late, sorry! But I had a VERY tumultuous graduation summer so for a gripping read click here ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was a long time ago but I spent it like a lot of girls: loving a boy I couldn't have, having sex with a boy a didn't love. You know, your basic YA angst. I don't really want to blog about it though.
ReplyDeleteBoth of them are my Facebook friends now. What a weird world.
Since I'm graduating in August for college... I'm turning back the clock to 2008. Whoa boy, it was a game-changer.

Most of my summer after high school graduation is a blur, and not because it was fast paced, but because my memory sucks. So here is a moment of it :)
ReplyDeleteShared mine from back in '06 :)
