  2. A nightmare Summer is having no-one to do things with or go places. It's happened quite a lot for me because my friends are always jetting off to places abroad and my family are usually too busy to do things and go places. So I'm usually stuck indoors, bored out of my head. Hopefully this summer I'll be out and about. My boyfriend's family are outdoor lovers so they always invite us out on trips to the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.

  3. My worst summertime nightmare would be cold weather. I live in WI, so we're dying for heat by May. I can imagine it snowing all summer long. That would be the worst!

    Can't wait to read A Midsummer's Nightmare. I love Kody's books :)

  5. My summertime nightmares aren't all that different from my spring, winter, and fall nightmares.

With that said...hurricanes? Chronic illness? Zombie apocalypse?

  6. My worst summer nightmare. Hmmm...probably spending the entire summer doing nothing. 4/5 years ago when I was still in school, that was how I dreamed of spending the summer, but once you get into the working world your priorities change.

  7. My worst summer nightmare would be not having working a/c in the house. I don't do well in the heat.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  8. My worst summertime nightmare would be not reading this book (and yes, I really do mean that)! So glad it's available! Well, that and rain all summer and not being able to go to beach (yes, I'm spoiled) and read. That would be horrible!

Actually, my actual real summertime nightmare occurs just before school starts - never fails, every year - I always have the teacher nightmare - the one in which it's the first day of school and I either can't get control of my classes or can't remember who I am or am teaching about space monkeys and zorbits and other jibberish. Twenty years of teaching and I STILL have that nightmare. Oy.

CONGRATS, KODY!!! Can't wait to read your new one!

  9. Happy book birthday to Kody! I'm super excited to read this, I'm hearing great things. My worst summertime nightmare would probably be not being able to grab mexican food after the beach. Weird, I know - but I live in San Diego, and the PERFECT after-beach grub is grabbing a burrito from the closest hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place. It seriously means summertime to me. Anything else, I could probably reconcile with myself - but don't take away the burrito.

  10. What would be your worst summertime nightmare? That would be not going anywhere. Being stuck at home babysitting while you friends are going to exciting places before college :(
    (NOT COOL)

  11. My worst summer nightmare would probably consist of me being abandonned in a swimming pool because I hate swimming pools. They're creepy and people urinate in them.
