a photo I took in costa rica. creepy! |
Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link in the comments - or, since this week's topic is a short one, you can include your answer in the comments.
It's been a while since we had an inspirational photos post, and we always love those. So...
This Week's Topic:
What images inspire/ represent your WIP or favorite book?
Road Trip Song of the Week:
"Summer Fog" by The Album leaf
So many images inspire me or make me think of my WiP...For today's post, I am introducing you to a special character. I promise he won't bite. Say hello to Balzac
ReplyDeleteYou never disappoint, Road Trip Wednesday...Here's a few of mine: Relics of Providence
ReplyDeleteLoved this question! Here's my answer: Images of Inspiration

ReplyDelete(Also, how do you link in the comments? I feel incompetent :) Thanks!)
Fail! Tried putting in the html code above but it didn't show the actual code. Search for 'embed html links' on google and it'll give you the code.
DeleteI totally cheat--I open a new post for my blog and type "here's mine" and then use the blogger editor to highlight it and make it link to the site. The editor then adds the correct HTML and I copy and paste it here.
Deletethe html code is pretty easy. Use this, but remove the spaces between the angle brackets and the code.
Delete< a href="SITE ADDRESS" > LINK TITLE < /a >
The code in the first bit of brackets starts the link and the slash a thing in the last bit of brackets ends the link.
Hopefully that sort of makes sense?
I love this question! Here's some photos for my WiP.
ReplyDeletethese are three images I hold in my head from old san juan when I'm working on my wip.

I'm working on a YA with Moby Dick-style influences, so one of the most inspiring things I came across was the 1930 edition of Moby Dick that features unbelievably expressive images by Rockwell Kent. Here's my post about it.
