Welcome to our 124th Road Trip Wednesday!

Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link in the comments - or, since this week's topic is a short one, you can include your answer in the comments.

This Week's Topic:
Who has helped you on your reading/writing/publishing journey?
For example, MG Buehrlen organized a lovefest today for our friend Myra McEntire,
an author who has been a huge help and fabulous cheerleader for me and many others.

Now's your chance to say thanks to someone who's made a difference in your dreams.

In a weird way, the people that help me most are the ones who don't believe. My mother who yearns for me to follow a conventional path, and my brother, who reminds me that I'm "a teacher, not a writer." Determined to prove them all wrong.
