Welcome to our 110th Road Trip Wednesday!
Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.
Where do you buy most of your books? No one is judging!

ReplyDeleteJ’aime: Reading, Writing, Rambling
Lately I've been buying most of my books either from Amazon or gohastings.com, depending on who has the better deal/shipping. I still buy in the bookstore (or off the grocery store bookshelf) if I'm feeling like I want a book Right Now and I see something interesting or that I've been waiting for. It's all about the impulses. :)
ReplyDeleteFor me this raised the question...E-Book or Read Deal?

I buy in Waterstones :) Every time I'm in town, the books call to me from the shelves and I take some home ;)
ReplyDeleteI used to take an excellent writing class in an independent bookshop, and I'm hoping to return in the new year ^_^

I started to answer in the comments, but realized my answer was actually quite long.

I have to answer this even though I missed the road trip! I buy my books from my little local bookstore where I order FROM THEM if they don't have what I want. I insist on keeping the little bookstores alive in whatever way I can.
ReplyDeleteI never order on line myself. I just can't bring myself to see a world where I can't wander aisles of books and just oo and ah at a stream of delicious covers all lined up in front of me.
I won't do it! Stamps feet and opens her pocket book up just a little wider. Just a bit! : )
