Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd
love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog
and leave a link -- or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in
the comments.
This week's topic:
What's the best book you read in November?

I saw the picture in this post and thought it was a sandwich. I was, like, "Man, I'm hungry." Then I realized it was leaves and books, and I was like, "Man, I'm hungry." #guythoughts

This month was really good, book-wise, but if I had to choose, I would go with Scott Lynch's "Red Seas Under Red Skies."

(Although I am currently reading M.T. Anderson's "Feed," and so far it is the best book I've read in a long time.)
I chose two--but I have a good excuse!

I knew what the best book of the month was back on November 3
ReplyDeletehttp://angelicarjackson.blogspot.com/2011/11/book-rec-scorpio-races-by-maggie.html
Though I liked Ship Breaker enough to buy 3 copies (1 for me, 1 each for 2 nephews) I'm kind of afraid to go look at everyone's--my TBR list gets so much longer!
Here's mine:

And here's mine. Hopefully the ensuing review isn't too crappy. I don't review books often.

I found an AMAZING paranormal romance full of tender goodness, danger, and intrigue. Check it out!
My pick. Not technically a YA but more coming-of-age. Still, any YA enthusiast will love this book...then immediately want to rent the movie!

Even later but here's mine. This was a great question that got me thinking about what a huge role voice plays in whether or not I like a book.
