Road Trip Wednesday #104: Writing Superpowers

Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link -- or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.

This week's topic:
What are your writing and publishing superpowers (drafting? beta-reading? writing queries? plotting? character creation? etc.) -- and what's your kryptonite?

  25. not blogging today (as usual!), but my superpowers are probably character and setting, while my kryptonite is plotting -- especially the dreaded middle. fortunately, I've developed lots of coping mechanisms!

  40. This one's fun and easy.

My superpower: dialogue. I love writing dialogue, and I think I'm pretty good at it.

My kryptonite: Plot/structure. It is so hard for me to effectively create a satisfying arc. I'm working on it, but it's just really challenging.

  41. This was fun! And oh yeah, I've got kryptonite:
