Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.
You're re-reading one of your favs when someone asks the dreaded question: "What's that book about?" Give us your best off-the-cuff blurb of any book, any genre, and have your readers try to guess the title in the comments!
Example:
Well, this high school chick gets her first period in the gym showers and totally freaks. Her classmates pretend to like her, then humiliate her at the prom by dumping pig blood on her head, so she kills them all by using her telekinetic powers and burning down the school.
Fun fun! :D http://lmoh.livejournal.com/

I don't have a blog, so I'll just post mine here.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably quite obvious, but...
One girl, trained all her life to be selfless and humble, must examine herself for the first time. Who is she? Where does she belong? One choice can changer her forever. This novel is set in the future, and each 16-year old must choose a colony to live in determined by the virtues they treasure most deeply, intelligence, humility, kindness...
Time is running out, and must make the ultimate choice: be true to her family, or true to herself?
