Welcome to our 78th Road Trip Wednesday!
Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.
This Week's Topic:
Some audiobooks are read by celebrities. Most recently, Cassandra Clare's CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS was partly read by Ed Westwick of Gossip Girl.

So, if you got to choose a celebrity narrator for the audio book of your WIP or your favorite novel, who would it be and why?

On principle, if it's got to do wiht voices, there's only one candidate.
ReplyDeleteJAMES EARL JONES!!!!
Best voice in 7 universes!
Yay! Thanks for the audiobook-related topic!
ReplyDeleteAgreed about the amazing-ness of James Earl Jones' voice, though I'm not sure how well he'd pull off a female teen voice for my WIP.
Here's my (maybe unexpected) answer:

I don't really enjoy audio books, but they ARE the future so I definitely considered it and feel very happy with my choice. :)

ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm weird but I'd actually just choose a really good narrator.
ReplyDeleteI love Jenna Lamia (and she'd be good for my work in process).
Katherine Kellgren is my favorite narrator (EVER).
Maybe this is partially because I listen to more audiobooks than I watch movies.
Awesome post!I love to listen to a good bunch of audio books extremely more than read actual books.
