Welcome to our 72nd Road Trip Wednesday!
Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where we post a weekly writing- or reading-related question. We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link in the comments - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
This Week's Topic:
Which book character would you like most as a next door neighbour?
Road Trip Song of the Week:
“Hey Ya" by Outkast
You might notice that the links to our posts aren't here this week, but don't freak out! Because every Road Trip Wednesday post is equally important, from now on the links to our posts will be down in the comments with yours. This also means that we can post the Road Trip Wednesday prompt way earlier, which gives everyone that much more time to come up with the perfect answer.
Everything else about Road Trip Wednesday will stay exactly the same. And as always, we're very much looking forward to reading your posts!
Next week’s topic:

ReplyDeleteThis will have me thinking! Someone crotchity ---- Like Haymitch!
So I didn't so much pick one character as I created a fictional apartment building floor with a lawyer, a baker, and a couple of girls who live in a tree...

Ooooooh, there are too many good choices! But here's a hint: "bat. bat." Sigh.

Mine's here: http://afoolsgoldenparadise.blogspot.com/2011/03/rtw-72-oh-hey-there.html
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see everyone else's tonight!
I wanted to say James Bond, but then I figured I meant Daniel Craig and not the literary Bond, who I'd probably laugh at, given his archaic attitudes.
ReplyDeleteSo I sat and pondered and came up wiiiiiiiith:
Alex Rider... I'd get him to teach me how to defend myself, and I'd to live in a very nice part of London! Also, I'm seriously looking forward to getting the next (alas, last!) book of the series next week :D
I want to live next door to Ren from Nightshade!
ReplyDeletehttp://kodymekellkeplinger.blogspot.com/2011/03/road-trip-wednesday-boy-next-door.html
I would totally live next door to the Fuentes brothers from Perfect Chemistry. And no I haven't decided if I want Carlos or Alex. And if they lived next door, I think I'd simply alternate. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Here's mine!

ReplyDeleteSHAKE IT LIKE A POLAROID PICTURE!

I had such a hard time deciding, but when I finally found the right character I was like, duh.

ReplyDeletehttp://writerschasm.blogspot.com/2011/03/rtw-love-your-neighbor.html
This was such a fun topic! I had a certain family of redheads as mine, just because they're awesome! Though there are certainly many others to choose from.

First of all, I LOVE the fact that the song of the day is Outkast. I LOVE THAT SONG! The minute I saw the title, I thought "Why does that sound familiar?" I had a real good time participating in this one. http://beefcakeandbabes.wordpress.com/2011/03/23/road-trip-wednesday-6-lend-me-some-sugar-i-am-your-neighbor/
ReplyDeleteI agree with Evolet. I love Outkast, too. LOL Here's mine:
