Road Trip Wednesday #64: Oh, the Places You'll Go

Welcome to our 64th Road Trip Wednesday!

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link in the comments - or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.

This Week's Topic:
If you could live within the universe of one book, which would you choose?

Kate: “If you are not in this picture, you should have checked your DA coin..."

Kaitlin: “It only makes sense I'd want to live there, even if it's a little bit wild..."

Kristin O: “The answer has been the same since I was ten years old..."

  19. That's a tough question for sure! lol, if Rainbow Brite were for teens, I'd choose Rainbow Land, without a doubt! I've got a thing for rainbows, horses, and magic, so it's my perfect home.

However, it's not, so... perhaps I'll go with Middle Earth. I mean, riding horses into battle, with swords, hot elves, and funny dwarfs... what could be better? Of course, Middle Earth was created by J.R.R. Tolkein for his books The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

  20. Lyra's Oxford. Loved that world since I was just ten.

Either that or I'd chill out at Donaldson's Dairy with Hairy Maclary and friends ;)

  29. I was late but don't worry I got away and no monsters were injured in the writing of this post. Lol come on over and visit....if not one of my own worlds, I would have to say in the Shire smoking tobacco with the hobbits would be pretty nice. Down in the Garden District with the Mayfair Witches would be fun, I would be a good Talamasca agent.

  30. I'd go to the Tortallan Universe of Tamora Pierce. No doubt.
