Road Trip Wednesday #30: Tattoo You

Welcome to our 30th Road Trip Wednesday!

Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

We'd love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link in the comments!

This week's topic:
What tattoo would you get to pay homage to a favorite book or celebrate the success of your own?

Kaitlin: I'm going to be both serious and very not serious in this topic. You'll have to guess which is which.

Kirsten: There's no easy answer to this for me...

Amanda: Hell, seventeen years ago, I thought slap bracelets and crimping irons were the COOLEST. THING. EVER.

Michelle: I’d like to begin with a disclaimer...

Emilia: ...what is life if you can't have your fictional lover's disfigured face doodled all over your bicep?

Kate: ...one of the characters in my book has the tattoo above...

Kristin: It's release day and you're in a strange city with too many happy hours and your best friend carrying your luggage.

Fun question. I did get side tracked by characters I love who have tattoos. But I did get to the point eventually

I'd get little gold dots all over my face so it looks like I'm sparkling in the sun. Kidding!! Here's my post.

I've added my bit. I just couldn't resist the call of the tattoo . . .

This is funny. My hubby was JUST telling me about a conversation he had with his friends. The friends were talking about identifying underage girls in a bar. My DH said you should just ask to see her tattoo. If she doesn't have one, you should be suspect. Apparently, tattoos are more popular than I realized.

Okay, ouch to the girl who had that done to her back. I'm guessing that's fake. It's pretty, though.
