- Great post by author Kelly Barnhill at the YA5 about prejudice against fantasy.

- Speaking of His Fabulousness Tiny Cooper, the San Francisco Chronicle interviewed John Green and David Levithan about their writing process and the response to WILL GRAYSON WILL GRAYSON.

- If you haven't seen Maggie Stiefvater's amazing book trailers, go immediately to her blog and watch Shiver, Linger, and the making of the latter.

- Tyra Banks has a three-book YA series deal. It is everyone's best interest that I comment no further.

- Even famous authors got rejected. Here's 30 of them.

- Importance of Online Presence, from author Jody Hedlund

- How to survive rejection like a badass, by author Cole Gibsen. (I may have embellished her title a little.)

- Author Natalie Whipple also has a good post about rejection-- on why it's okay to not have a thick skin, as long as you have some way to bounce back.

- In follow up to last week's post about trends, agent Mandy Hubbard shows that there's room for everything in publishers' wish lists.
