Hey awesome readers! We at YA Highway are hard at work planning and preparing and writing to bring you the best YA content for readers and writers on the web! We have lots of ideas, but we wanted to give you all the chance to let us know what you want to see.
What are the burning YA questions you mustmustmust have answered? Something you'd like to know about the writing/querying/selling process? Books you want to see reviewed? Authors you'd like to see interviewed? Stuff you want for free? Songs you want to see sung/vlogged by resident vocalist Kody?
Really. Drop us a line. Or a comment or three. Our bloggers range from beginning writers to agented and on submission to sold and anticipating release (squeee!!). We chat with agents and authors, teens and adults. You want to know? Jot it down in the comments section. We'll tell you.
Have a happy March!
Are you really giving us power? Cue the wicked laugh! On a serious note, I would LOVE it if the agented YA Highway-ers could interview their own agents. I think it would be interesting to get inside of their heads and see why they actually chose to represent certain authors. Great idea--thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY some Kody vlogs. *evil grin*
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think Pam's idea is a fantastic one!
Oh - wait...this isn't really a question for me, is it? *slinks away*
Great idea, Pam!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes. Kody vs. Kristin in a Lady Ga Ga sing-off FTW. Vlog-it-now-plz.
lol Michelle :P
ReplyDeleteHmmm, what do I want to see on here? *thinks*
*thinks harder*
Um, can I get back to you?
*crickets*
ReplyDeletecome on, guys! boss us around! we LIKE it!
Well, Kirsten likes it. >.>
ReplyDeleteI second (or third?) the support of Pam's idea.
ReplyDeleteI'd also be interested in hearing about trends that agents are seeing in YA novels. Trends in subject matter, setting, incorporated genres, etc. I don't want to be the fifth query some poor agent reads about cupcake-decorating time travelers!
It would be interesting to be able to learn from, and learn a few trends to avoid.
Cupcake-decorating time travelers = genius.
